Venezuelan Street Food
Arepas in Norwalk, CT
Crisp outside, soft inside and stuffed to order. Our arepas are a Venezuelan staple, filled with slow-cooked meats, cheese and fresh toppings.
What is an arepa?
An arepa is a Venezuelan cornmeal cake that is cooked until the outside is golden and the inside is soft, then split open and filled. It is eaten for breakfast, lunch and dinner across Venezuela, and it is naturally made from corn.
At Valencia Cocina you can choose from classic fillings like Carne Mechada and Pabellón-style plates, or newer creations like the Rumbera and the Zach.
Make it a combo
Turn an arepa into a meal with rice, beans, avocado and plantains, or build The Works with one arepa and one empanada.
